Gunnar's Ground

Complexity:	Beginner.
Length:	Short.
Requirements:	- 5 Crafting.
Items needed:	None.
Starting point:	Talk to the Cook in Lumbridge Castle.

1. Talk to Dororan the Dwarf near the bridge, West of Barbarian Village. He tells you that he is in love with a female Barbarian, but he doesn't have anything the Barbarians value. That's why he asks you to visit the smith, Jeffery, in Edgeville, to trade a love poem for a ring of pure gold. Agree to help him.

2. Go to the house with the Furnace East of the bank in Edgeville and talk to Jeffrey. He will give you the Golden ring in exchange for the love poem.

3. Go back to Dororan eand show him the ring. He tells you to engrave a text using a Chisel. Use a Chisel on the ring to turn it into a "Dororan's engraved ring". Show it to Dororan, hhe wants you to take the ring to Gudrun.

4. Gao toGudrun, she walks around in Barbarian Village. Talk to her when you see her. ZShe tells you she would love to run off with a stranger, but the chief of the Barbarians, Chieftain Gunthor, would never allow that. Offer to speak to the Chief.

5. Go into the pub in the North of Barbarian Village and talk to Chieftain Gunthor. He tells you he's not happy with it.

6. Go back to Gudrun and tell her what her father said.

7. Go to Dororan and explain the situation. He will write a poem for the Chieftain, but he needs your help, otherwise he doesn't know what words to use. The following words are correct and in order:

Stray;
Thread;
Swept to war.

8. Take the finished poem, Gunnar's Ground, tor Gudrun. Gudrun will recite the poem to her father, the Chieftain. He like the poem so much that he offers the house in the East of Barbarian Village to Dororan and declares him the villaage poet.

9. Bring the good news to Dororan, he will reward you.

Engraving Jewelry

After completing the quest you can speak with Dororan again. You can get up to a maximum of 32.000 Crafting XP by engraving Jewelry.

On level 42 Crafting, you can engrave a Ruby bracelet for 2.000 Crafting XP.
On level 72 Crafting, you can engrave a Dragonstone necklace for 10.000 Crafting XP.
On level 90 Crafting, you can engrave an Onyx amulet for 20.000 Crafting XP.
